CETM CISTERNAS nace en 2008 a partir de la fusión de la Asociación Empresarial de Transporte en Cisternas (AETC) y la Asociación Nacional Empresarial de Distribuidores de Productos Petrolíferos (ANEDIPE). Agrupa a 120 empresas que disponen de 6.000 vehículos y emplean a 9.000 trabajadores. Constituida como un punto de encuentro de empresas de los diversos sectores de actividad del transporte en cisternas (químicos, gases, alimenticios, pulverulentos, contenedores, combustibles líquidos, etc.), su objetivo es el de defender, en continua colaboración con la CETM, los intereses generales de las empresas dedicadas al transporte de mercancías en vehículos cisterna. Para ello, la CETM CISTERNAS está presente en la Comisión Interministerial para la Coordinación del Transporte de Mercancías Peligrosas y Perecederas, forma parte del Comité de Seguimiento del Sistema Gasista, colabora con la Dirección General de Tráfico en la elaboración de los bancos de preguntas para los exámenes de conductores de Mercancías Peligrosas, etc.
